1973 454 High perf block that needs .060 overbore Casting #'s are 3999289. Pics of cab with the DS door mounted. They are the ones for sale separately. The doors are yellow and appear to have original paint. They both need some dent repair to the lowers, but no rust through.

Front clip, bed and chassis is gone, sorry. It was the only pic I had of the cab that wasn't up close. Obviously, this isn't a "bolt it on and go" cab.
Evaporator box on firewall is missing. It needs patches on floor boards both sides. No rust to the cab supports that I can see. |

DS of swb bed not too bad, ps is toast. Both sides have the panel behind the rear tires folded under. Floor is pretty nice, one hole for a trailer ball (?)

This is the only pic of PS door I currently have. Will take more and post ASAP. Pic of DS door is at first of thread as pics of whole truck before I parted it out.

It has some bondo on the bottom portion, but still has original paint on top portion

When you have so much "JUNK", it is hard to keep track. I forgot that I had these 71 doors off a truck I parted. They need some work, but I think they were salvageable. Appears to be original paint. They have had some brazing repair to the hinge areas, looks solid to me. There are a few rust holes as well. Also, at least one, possibly both skins are cracked where they didn't have support, in the area were GM added the screw inside on 72 doors. $100 for the pair

I think you get the idea that the 71 doors need work. I hit the rusty spots with a wire wheel to stop the rust and sprayed some oil on them. The 72 doors are much better.

Sorry pics are so dark. I was using the wife's new camera and havent learned how to do so properly yet. The filler on the pass door looks entirely unnecessary to me. I think it was done by someone with absolutely no experience trying to fix a dent.

68-72 swb fleet bed sides. These came from two different trucks.The driver side has had the stake pockets welded up. The pass side hasnt. The pass side will need the strip that bolts the bed side to the floor replaced. The driver side is OK. Both of them have a hole where the metal rusted away behind the rear tire, right at the corner. The pass side has a couple of dents. These will need work, but IMO are better metal than repros. which are almost always thinner and softer metal.

DS also has a torn (?) spot at bottom below tail light. IMO, this could be welded back together fairly easily.

no rust through on yellow 72 doors that I can see. Will post better pics as time allows.
