Re: bad cab mounts on the frame help!
You can make some, you can also buy some from guys here that will cut the rivets off of a parts truck they have and send them to you. LilRed might be able to help

Re: bad cab mounts on the frame help!
Yeah, Brothers has them you can buy them in pairs, and get only the ones you need. They became available after I called around and got a set out a boneyard in California.

Re: bad cab mounts on the frame help!
are the mounts the same as the 67's

Re: bad cab mounts on the frame help!
Which mounts are you referring to, front or back, and what year of truck has the bad mounts? The rear mounts on a '67 are different than the rears on a '63-'66. I'm not sure about the fronts, I'd have to check.

Re: bad cab mounts on the frame help!
Are you talking about the frame perches? Cab-to-frame mounts? Cab supports? Front or rear? 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton?
All of these things make a difference in what is available aftermarket or used. I know where you can get all of the above, in good, used condition, so let me know if you are interested. Good luck with your project. |

Re: bad cab mounts on the frame help!
Are just the tops bad.....where the mounts set? If so then If you can't find some good used oned to replace them, then just replace the top part. Do you have a way to weld? Most any welding/fabrication shop should be able to make the pieces for you (I know I could) as long as you provide them with either dimensions or patterns. Once you have your new pieces, cut out the bad part, and weld in the new pieces
