help with brake line on 70 burb
Long story short, I switched to disc brakes off of a 87 truck. I got the lines prop valve all the way to the master cylinder, bought a new master cylinder for a 72 to go to my original power booster. It stops good great pedal but if I push a bit too hard the rear tires lock up, it is kinda dangerous when wet.
I think I may have the lines going into the master cylinder in the wrong holes. Can somebody take a look at their 71-72 and see if the front resevior goes to the front brakes or rear? |
Re: help with brake line on 70 burb
front (smaller) reservoir goes to the rear brakes.
sounds like you may need an adjustable proportioning valve to prevent rear brake lockup. |
