how low can i go?

im in the middle of building a 70 short fleet with a turbo charged ls1. i like the looks of a bagged truck but was told i will never get all the power to the ground as if i did a static drop. is this true? can someone post pics of the lowest static drop there is with 20's all around thanks

Bags can be properly set up to handle as well as coils. Unless you're making a large amount of power and trying to drag race, which I assume you're not- based on the 20s, you will have no problems. You can do a static 5/7 or 6/8 drop and be plenty low enough and not have to worry about the extras that come with bagging. All depends on what you wanna do...

Check out user Raguemo- he has a white '67 dropped 5/7 on 20s...

bags are just springs that are adjustable. nothing more nothing less. aplying power to the ground will all be based on your suspention (2 link 3 link 4 link) and shock setup.

Check in with Tony and the guys at www.ridetech.com they had a full on drag car running an innovative air springs suspension that had no trouble getting the power to the ground. You'll have more trouble hooking up due to the empty bed and weight ratio of a truck than anything relating to the air suspension.
