I'm currently converting mine this week. I purchased the 4 wheel disk kit w/ cross-drilled/slotted rotors from Classic Performance Products. Will updated with pics and info when done, however will be AWHILE before it sees the road.

What specific info you looking for? Vendors, parts, instructions, etc...?

Best of luck.

What lug rear end are you running? I bought a conversion kit from kaptinfab here on the board that utilizes 95 impala ss rear disk breaks. I just installed it today! You can do the entire conversion for around $200

Another vote for CaptianFab. I decided to use the F-Body calipers to keep an e-brake. Gotta have it for inspection here in TX. Do a search in the suspension forum. There are several options. Many have done it.

Re: rear disc

if you have 6 or 8 lug wheels.....use the factory rear disc setup from a 2000+ gm truck. millions of dollars invested in r&d - not a mix of parts, the e-brake setup is better (rugged separate drum instead of in the caliper), and replacement parts are available at the local store. i love aftermarket parts (poly bushings, braided brake hoses, etc), but if there is a factory part that is comparable (or better) i automatically go that route.

Re: rear disc

i bought my kit from CPP as well. overall i would recommend the kit..... but the instructions leave a bit to be desired. i wish they provided more detail. i feel the update is worth the money, no matter which one you choose. good luck!!

P.S. i have a '72 chevy 5-lug rearend....

Re: rear disc

I put disk brakes on the rear of my 69 C-10. The calipers have emergency brakes. One side emergency did not work. The company is shipping me another caliper. No charge for shipping. The truck stops real good, but the pedal is a little spongy. I think disk braked are a little spongy.
