Heater Core
 
Do you pull the box the fan mounts to so you can change the heater core on a pickup with factory air?

no there is a box inside the cab. if you take the glove box out you can see it really well and it will help getting the two screws from the box going through the firewall. you will have to take out the fender well also. there are i think 4 nuts that help hold on the a/c box (the box that the fan mounts to) those are studs from the heater box that have to come off. But the a/c box does not need to come off. hope that helps
