Alright, so I know the following….

67 GMC hoods are the same as 67-68 Chevy hoods…

All 68-72 GMC’s fenders are the same as the 68 Chevy fenders….



So here are my questions:

Were all 67-72 GMC core supports the same? For both hoods?

Was the same hood latch used on both style hoods?

67/67 core supports have threaded inserts to bolt on the lower air deflector that 69/72 does not, other than that they are generally the same and will interchange... 67/68 hood latches are unique to themselves, They are taller than the 69/72's

I ask because I have a 70 GMC and am planning on swapping on a 67 GMC grille and hood....

will a hood for a 67-68 chevy truck fit a 69 gmc truck ?

Yes, but you will need to change out the hood latch and use a 67/68 style latch with the 67/68 hood. The core support and fenders will work with the hood.
