leveling kit??
 
i have a 87 2wd, is there a kit or a way i can raise the front of my truck so it will be level w/the back??

Check with www.jcwhitney.com. They have coil spring compressors or spacers.

I would think it would alter your suspension geometry enough to need to do an alignment.

Or you could run a higher rate coil say from a 3/4-1 ton or diesel..

Any kind of lift in the front will pretty much cause the same problem, except for a lift spindle...which aren't made for 73-87s anymore.

Your options to lift the front are few... coils, coil spacer, or spindle (old AIM spindle or covert to 88-98 lift spindle)... the first two will cause a harsher ride though it is a truck not a caddy. I never really noticed a big difference that made me think that I should take the HD coils out.

Sounds like you need to drop the rear to match the front........
