Have 10-an with an 8-return. Running a a1000 with a a1000 regulator. I need to finish up cleaning up the wiring and wash the truck. The cell looks to be leaning a little bit towards the front of the truck, but the sump is still lower than the rest of the tank. I figured if i atleast keep it full when i race, i won't have any issues..

It looks sweet but I have heard that you don't need to mount those cells by the tabs. You might want to fab up a strap to take the weight off the tabs.

nice, my setup is similar. That filler cover is slick too.

Looks nice and should run even better, :). I'm getting ready to do that pump and regulator setup on my 68. Is there any reason why you ran the pump on the outside of the frame instead of inside? TIA

Re: fuel cell under the bed

I plan on moving it inside the frame rails later. I have all my battery and alternator wiring inside the frame and i need to move a few things around to get the wiring, pump, and fuel pump inside. Also, my exhaust goes up in the frame and would be to close to the fuel pump. For now, it's easy access and hidden unless you look up into the fender well...

some sanctioning bodies require that the fuel lines be run on the outside... away from the driveshaft. might want to check with your local track tech before you go to the trouble of moving them

I am also diggin that filler door! that square one would look soo much better than my round one...

Re: fuel cell under the bed

The guy that did most of the work had the cell laying around, and the filler door was on another project truck that he had. I'll give him a call to find out where he found the filler door and the tank....

awesome install

Re: fuel cell under the bed

the filler door came from unlimited products that was made for a wood floor, but was modified to work on this metal floor. The tank, i believe is a rci 15 gal.
