I need a 4x4 swb frame
 

I need a 4x4 swb truck frame. Let me know what you have. It can be just ta stripped frame with no running gear. Will consider a lwb frame to chop down. Let me know if you have one or know where one is.

I have one that is repaired.It was 68 swb 4x4 that got hit in the front.I cut under the cab and replaced front half with 71 blazer. Has reinforcement plate and power steering box with sb cradle no springs or front axle has dana 60 rear axle hd stock springs ,not sure on gear but I think 410. I would take $400 for it.I am going to Talledaga in oct if you don't find one close before then and could deliver that far.

Thank you Junkie, I will keep yours on the possibles list. But if I can I would like to find one closer.

Does anyone else know of one? In a field somewhere etc.?

I have got a rolling blazer frame with all the susp. under it. Has a 350 in it, manuel trans, and transfer case in it. $600 would but it.

The blazer frame and the truck frame are completely different. Thank you for the offer though.

All you have to do is cut the rear off the frame a little and put the bed mounts on. We did a truck a couple of years ago this way.

But the wheel base (center to center of axle) is longer on a truck than the blazer. So If I were to try and mount the bed, even with re-arranging the mounts, the wheel will be too far foreward. I would have to cut the frame and add like 10 inches or something (can't remember exactly) to push the rear frame arch and spring mounts back.

You are going to cut a long wheel base to a short if you find one. You could make the blazer one longer with a little more work. I just thought it might help you out. I get some guys here from Brookhaven Ms. Is that close to you?

I know someone somewhere around here has one of these frames just sitting there rusting away never to be used again. I just hope they run across this thread LOL.

Billsbowtie should still have a 68 1/2 4x4 frame longbed..but its a long roadtrip to rosehill va... (sw va)

I have a 3/4 4x4 LWB frame for sale ..check the 67-72 trucks for sale ,,It was a tow truck I took down to the frame for my next builder project...
