Looks like a light. Maybe a SES light (if you have a later model engine) is there anything running to the back of it?

if there is an alarm in there it looks like a glass breakage sensor.

That is where you plug in your flux capicator.

If it is a factory flux capicator connector you should see 4z14cp - z14 "Flux Capicator" on your SPID.

it might be your muffler bearing sensor :lol: get behind the dash and trace the wires it'll give you a good idea.

i'd lay on my back and look up under the dasboard where it is mounted .. if no wires attached to it then it's nothing,if wires attached follow wires and see where they go to findout what it is hooked up to

So there shouldn't be anything sticking through the dash at that point, the only thing that should be behind that is possibly your middle speaker.r.

Its a hole plug. The guy at the factory had too much to drink the nite before and drilled the hole in the wrong place.
