ok so im going to get new weather stripping for my door windows my ? is how do i replace it. Do i take the window out or what? and if i have to take the window out how do i do that. 2nd im getting a safety switch replaced as well is there anything speical i have to do to make it work i heard it had to b in the right place or it wont work. 3rd how wide of rims can i run on the front of my truck. also my truck is a 71 c10 2wd sorry i should have put that first thanks for your help.

Yes a lot of us would like to hear from someone that know a bit about changing the window seals on the doors. anyone be our hero!

Easy to replace without taking the window out. (1) remove door panel. (2) remove bolt holding the track. (3) remove old track material starting at the top. (4) with the bolt out you can side it past the glass and down into the lower track. Window should be down from the top about 5 or 6 inches. Be careful not to bang around too much while the track is unbolted as it will not hold the window very well. Good Liuck!:metal:

The FAQ's section will have some really good write-ups(some with pictures) on all of the weatherstripping.There's no way I could repeat all of whats been put there.
