anybody run a 10" wide wheel with a 7" drop?

hey just wondering if anyone on here has a 7" drop in the rear of their truck and running a 10" wide wheel, what size offset do you have? what size tire are you using as well?

I want a wider tire but the sidewall is pretty close to the lip of the wheel well, looks like theres a couple inches to go before rubbing the leafs. so to go wider would be more offset? I was thinking of mini tubbing the box to get more room but seems like a lot of offset for a rim?

any pics?

after hours of searching i found a 15x10 will work with atleast 4.5" backspace, im gonna go with 5" backspace so i can mini tub the box a bit and get the biggest tire in there possible.. anyone know what it would be? i'll have to get the rim and measure it out one the truck

here are some wheel vintique rallies, 15x10 with 5'' of b/s. the drop is about 6.5, running a 295/50r15 at the time.

that looks good thanks! Does it stick out any farther than a stock 8" rally wheel? Thats my main concern because the 8" with the tire i have on its very close to the inner lip of the wheel well but if i need to ill just trim it off

thanks again

thanks, my front wheels are 8'' with 4''s of b/s, they are flush with the rear 10'' wide wheels. thats why i got 10''s with 5''s of bs on the rear, to make up for the whole track width thing, they sit just inside the fender. i can squeeze in about a fender

My 74 has a flip-kit w/some drop shackles on the 8-leaf spring pack. I've ran 2 different 10" width wheels in the rear. I had 20x10" w/5.00bs & 295-40's & 20x10's w/5.50bs & 295-40's.

Although both physically fit, the 5.00bs offered better clearance.
