temp switch
the temp switch that is in the head. i have the one off my 305 going onto my 400 and the hole is bigger on the 400 head so it wont fit the senser. is there a adapter or a bigger temp switch i use?
also. i need a plug the same size for the other head. thanks:metal: |
Re: temp switch
Yes you can use an adapter, you must have an aftermarket gauge do you . I thought all temp sending units were the same size until you got into the newer stuff

Re: temp switch
It's out of a 84 305 going into a 72 400 so the years are apart. And where could i get a adaptor? Summit?

The temp. sending units are both pipe thread one id 3/8's NPT and the 400 uses 1/2 NPT. You can go to any store that carries plumbing stuff and get an adapter to make it work. Here is what to look for

Re: temp switch
