due to the small bore (3-7/8) i would go with a set of 305 heads to keep the compression up and if you look for a set of HO heads they can be had with large valves and improved ports and as far as the intake goes look for an old torker-2 or 69 or older gm intake hope this helps

try here http://www.thedirtforum.com/castings.htm if its the same engine as in your flicker folder it is a 3970014 which is a 68 - 79 350 200-255 2&4-Bolt main and the heads are positively double hump heads by the pics and are most likely cast number 3890462 62-68 1.94/1.50 & 2.02/1.6 250-350 64 CC Chambers No bolt holes, double humps hope this helps

I agree

Those heads were available with either 2.02 or 1.94 intake valves. More that likely those have 1.94 intake valves. There are better heads than those, but it depends on what you expect from this engine and what your budget is. If it runs as it is, I would just leave the heads on there.

I believe the last year for the oil fill pipe was 67 or 68. Any intake older than that should have it. The manifold on my 60 has the pipe.

If you look in summit racing and jegs catalog they have edelbrock manifolds with the oil fill tubes, may be others available.
