Re: Duallys on 17-19" wheels
I've been looking for interchangability on wheels myself.
The new model GM & Dodge dually trucks have 17" steelies from the factory. I have a buddy w/a yard that says he can get the newer wheels if I want to trade my current 16" Alcolas. I just haven't found much info on what it would take to swap them.... Nothing? Hubcentric adapters? I just don't like wheels that have to be polished & I'm not interested in 22's. I wish they did 20" dually wheels. |

Scot,
I'd like a set of 16" Alcoas for my truck. Keep me in mind. |

Re: Duallys on 17-19" wheels
I bolted a set of late model 17" Dodge dually wheels up to my 72 C30 with no issues. 9/16 studs fit perfect and the nuts with the flat flange hold'em on.

I have also been doing some research on tire options. I plan to go with a 19" (19.5 milled down) but also don't want a 26.71 tire height. What I have found is that I think I am going to go with a 245/55-19 which will give me a 29.61 tire height. I can then run a 235/75-16 tire on the inside rear. If I go with this combo I will be turning 3500rpm @ 75mph with a 4.10. This is only 200 rpm's more than my stock tire height. If I choose to change my gears to 3.53 then I would be looking at 3000rpm at the same speed. http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i4...y/90772e03.png http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i4...y/bb56de23.png http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i4...y/769369b6.png Posted via Mobile Device |

He hasn't been on here since 2016 so you probably won't get a reply.

Had a feeling, but you never know. Maybe someone else has done this swap
