Th400/NP205
I found a guy locally that has a TH400/NP205 combo that he is selling for $450. Is this a good deal? I have a TH400/NP208 that I am going to put into my crew cab, but I think I would rather have a TH400/NP205.
So what do you guys think? is it a good deal? it comes with the shifters and drive lines. Thanks, Matt |
Re: Th400/NP205
With snow on the ground and people breaking stuff plowing that's a fair price,
especially if the trans is good. |
Re: Th400/NP205
I have a good TH400, so I figure if the transmission is bad I could just put my good transmission in.

Re: Th400/NP205
Fixed yoke or slip joint? Most pickups (at least my CUCVS) have the slip joint, my C&C's have the fixed yoke.

Re: Th400/NP205
I called him and asked him that and he said he doesnt remember, it is under a tarp with a foot of snow. It comes with both drive shafts, TQ, shifter, and all that.

Re: Th400/NP205
That is an amazing deal and definately buy it even if the trannys not working because those setups are pretty rare. If you were to buy a new 400/205 adapter it would cost I believe close to 200$ and the 32 spline input shafts are over $100 aswell so you're gettin a pretty good deal.

Re: Th400/NP205
Yeah that is what I figured. I thought it was a pretty good deal. I hope the weather is better this weekend as I want to go look at it this weekend.
