4/6 drop???

I know this has probably been covered a hundred times on here, but I honestly couldn't find the answer while looking through previous posts. I just got off the phone with cpp to order a disc brake with the 4/6 suspension. When I asked for the 4/6 the guy told me a c-notch was required if lowering the rear 6 inches or more. I thought I could lower 6 and not need it, unless I went lower. Can someone please clarify this for me. Thanks

You will have about 1" of clearance with a 6" rear drop...a c-notch is recommended, but not required. I have a 6.5" drop in the back and need a c-notch as I bottom out fairly easy. CPP does not sell 6" rear drop springs to my knowledge. I am running 5" CPP rear springs with a 1.5" drop block.

No c-notch required with a 6" rear drop unless you plan to haul some heavy loads. My suggestion is to order from ECE. You will be much happier with the end results.

NO C-NOTCH NEEDED WITH A 6 INCH SPRING....i AGREE ece WAY BETTER WHICH IS WHAT i HAVE...
