Spindle Difference

Is there any difference between a stock C-10 and C-20 spindle?

I believe the answer is "yes". If I remember right, the tie rod ends are different and the spindle shaft is different too. LMC catalog shows a C20 only spindle for 71-72. I don't know the answer for sure, but the clues say they are different. Also, I wanted to make sure your post stays on top so you get an answer. Did I mention I was bored and curious?

Yup that is correct,& the balljoints are also larger on the c 20. Do you need swapover info, or just a source for replacment part?

Im looking to build my 72 c10 into a prerunner, and instead of building custom spindles I was going to machine out the ball joint holes and heim everything. Then I would build custom control arms to mount off the heims and onto my own bosses on the frame for the upper arm and the crossmember for the lower arm. So I was just wondering if there was any strength difference between the two.
