Throttle Pedal measurement needed

Can anyone measure the distance from the top edge of their gas pedal to the floor/carpet? My truck is a 69, without the cable.

Thanks

I don't have an answer for you, but maybe some more info from you to help someone answer it. Do you want this measurement to see how long of a cable you need? Are you trying to figure out the position of the pedal when you install your cable?

I have the other style, the solid rod. The difference from stock is that I'm running a Demon carb, so I dont know how long to adjust the rod so the pedal is in the stock position.

If you use the factory adjustment method, I bet you can get close without measuring. Basically you just push the pedal till the lever hit the bump stop & hold it & with the carb at WOT adjust the thing on the rod till it goes in the hole on the throttle lever on the carb. Should put you in the ballpark.
