Just my opinion, but I would not let it go for less than $1500 as it sits. Motors are tough to sell once removed and not running, but this is a nice setup! Sharpie

Thanks Sharpie. I'm looking at building a stand to run it on, just in case theres some interest. Running out of storage space for stuff. I was looking for a truck to put it in, but can't find anything local. Again, Thanks. Jim

No more guesses?

Well, assuming this was a pure stock rebuild and you could show receipts for parts/ machine work probably a grand or better (as it sits), if it were in a vehicle where it could be tested I could see $1500 for it.

This is just my perspective as a buyer. Depends largely on your location as well... in Phoenix it's not hard to find something similar thus lower in value.

Sharpie has a point about what he would sell it for, but I wonder if he would pay that much for it...

Thanks for responding. I guess I'm going to put it on the parts board Monday. I'm looking at a short fleet Sunday thats missing engine and tranny. So maybe it will be in something and running. Or just build a quick test stand. I did take a good driving video before I pulled it, to show oil pressure and such. Don't know if that would help or not. Thanks again. JIm

Sure the video is a big help, good thinking! You could even post it online as a selling tool. I think I would do that even if it was still in the truck.

As they say... seeing is believing...

Best of luck to your sale!
