Bear with me as this is my first time selling something on this forum. No pm's about the motors. Only ask quetions in this thread please. Shipping would cost a fortune on these and I'm not really not sure who I would use to do it. I have two motor's for sale. One complete big block 396 from intake to pan even has the orginal delco coil also has motor mounts alternator and powersteering brackets. This is a virgin block and is all together it spins freely but I would strongly recomend a rebuild. I'll take $500 firm for it 396 sold locally!. 383 shortblock I've had a for a few years and messed around with is now collecting dust in my garage. The block is a seasoned early 70's 350 four bolt main bored .40 over so technically 385 cubic inches one of the head bolts has been helicoiled. The crank is a steel eagle with gm rods and sealed power pistons, this set up is also balanced. Pete jackson noisy gear drive and a good size 292 duration cam also has oil pan and flexplate for auto trans. I have maybe put 3000 miles on this engine since I built it. Although this motor ran I would take it to a machine shop to get checked out before you do anything with it. The 383 with a smaller cam got my 5000 pound C20 to run 16.2's in the 1/4 mile with 3.54 gears. I'm asking $500 for it. I wanted to build the 396 for my 71 but work is slow and I could really use the cash. Let me know what's up guy's.

Thanks, Evan

I have been looking for a reason to take a road trip. Probably wouldn't be able to get there until early July. Would you hold it that long with a down payment?

Not a problem if you are serious then its yours. I would rather sell to a fellow 67/72 lover. How far are you from Seattle? I visit there often.
