Has anyone used airbagit.com's spindles? I have a C20 and I am looking for spindles.
Thanks

Re: drop spindles

My advise would be to stay away from airbagit.com.
Search AIM, Chassis Tech, or the newest name, airbagit.com for all the poor customer service and product reviews.

www.PerformanceOnLine.com sells C20 drop spindles.

I had bad luck with them to, I just read a lot about spindles and from what I have been told djm is the way to go, Some of the others space the rims outward. But I do not know this for sure. Ya know everything you read on the internet is true!

I bought the POL C20 drop-spindle and 8-lug disk brake conversion about a year ago. Great product for sure. They DID move the wheel out about 3/4 of an inch though. But stock wheels still clear the fender lip.

On another note... I did buy some stuff from airbagit.com, and so far so good, other than the instructions are lacking what this novice needs.

Thanks Mulk. I have the spindles now just waiting to install them. Got 5" springs for the rear and the new track bar. When you put those new wheels on did you have any clearance issues with the front being moved out?

I had a set of centerline 16in when I did the swap, and they rubbed. I had to go to stock to clear. Although I was also running a 3in lowering spring.

I just had to find wheels with a crazy off-set to clear with bags. There are tons of wheel options out there if you shop around. The Fuel 20in wheels I'm running now have room to spare.

Re: drop spindles

if you convert to the 3" drop spindles can you retain the drum brakes, or do you have to upgrade to discs?

You have to upgrade to disc brakes.
