radio help
 
ok so installed a new sound system in my truck new wires new amp new speakers new deck hooked the deck up to the same power sources that the PO had his radio connected to...the radio doesnt turn off with the ignition i have to turn it off manually

..my question is....where on the fuse box should it be hooked up to so that it turns off with the ignition

The red wire from the deck (at least, on most...) should be battery hot, the yellow should be an ignition hot.

Yep just what he said. You can test the wire that was hooked up but sounds like it is not ignition hot. You should just be able to run the usually yellow constant wire to your fuse box some where. If you have a tester light just find one that has power when the keys on.
