Is there any reason to keep these brackets? I am going to use an LS/4L60 engine and trans.

The first picture keep it. It will be part of your shift linkage. I'm not sure about the 2nd one.

The second bracket is an exhaust hanger if I'm not mistaken.I used it and fabricated another for the pass. side when I made my Twice Pipes;)

If your gonna run an aftermarket shifter then get rid of that 1st bracket..

I am going to use a column shift set up with a 4L60E or 4L65E...

Even if you don't wind up needing it, the shifter bracket is worth money to someone on here who does need it.

Talked to Hart_Rod and he said I could remove it and use a Lokar shift linkage. I like that plan, it will open up that area for exhaust. Will put the bracket in my things to sell pile. Thanks for the input fellas.
