Random lowering question...

I have been looking at all the different ways to lower the rear of my truck more and something raised a question, if you have a flip kit done on the rear and pull leaves out of the leaf pack wouldnt that be effectively raising the rear back up?

No because the axle sits on top of the main leaf. Removing springs will lower it further and increase axle wrap.

not necessary, its depends on how many leafs are in the spring pack, when I only had 3 leafs in the spring pack the rear was almost dropped 8" drop with a flip kit, then I added 2 leafs back in the pack it raised it to a 5" drop

yes.if the prings had 0 sag. however the trucks weight on the one spring and the overload spring, causes about 2.5 in. far more than the 1/2-3/4in of removed spring thickness.
