headlights but no other lights??
 

hey i have a 79 c 10 and the other day i was under the dash and my shoulder bumped 2 random black wires together ( both had metal crimped connectors on them ) it was behind the glove box. anyways now i have head lights, blinkers and brake lights but no interior lights or running tail lights or license plate lights?? i just got a new switch didnt fix it and checked for blown fuses and none were blown any ideas?

I'm not an expert on wiring, well actually I don't know much about it but I'm pretty sure black wires are grounds. I do know that without certain grounds your truck can pretty much go crazy with a mind of it's own so I would check your grounds first.

Back when I was in high school with my first car, I pulled the dash cluster out to change out the old burned out bulbs. When I put it all back together and turned on the lights, all I had was headlights............. Turns out after much anguish, it was just a blown fuse . I would check all of those, and check your grounds as mentioned.

Check the wires you bumped. They might not have been crimped good and could have come loose when you hit them
