The hub bore is different between GM & Dodge (older vs newer wheels) despite the same bolt pattern. Not an issue if its a lug centric wheel (aftermarket) but most duallys use both the hub & lug for locating the OE type wheel. Ford's hub bore is much larger & not interchangeable from what I researched. This is typically why wheels are offer for GM/Dodge applications & a Ford option. All the newer GM wheels from around 08 to present are different (metric?) patterns as well. The list was something like this.... GM apps: 73-00; 01-07; & 08 -current Dodge: 7x-02; 03- current I don't have the Ford info on hand as it was different enough I completely ruled them out as a 'cheap' alternative. |

http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...957/2_nuts.jpg right in the owner’s manual for the truck. It says to use two 5/8-18 acorn lug nuts to center the wheels on the studs and then put the other lug nuts on. After they are tight remove the 2 acorn lug nuts and replace with yours and torque to spec. |
