73-76 trans crossmembers are semetrical, the same as your current crossmember on the right side but on both sides of the 73-76. I hope this makes sence.

Here is mine out of a 74 C10. It also has top braces lik your right side does. I plan on using this for my 82 wich has the over and under crossmember like yours.

thats what I want! I've been looking and found some aftermarket ones but they dont have the frame braces just pretty much a straight peace that only bolts on to the bottom of the frame

i'll keep looking for one like you have

Fab one up yourself, or find a shop that can do it for you. That way you'll get the best fit & the overall look you're after in one shot! Here's the one they built for my truck.

I looked in to getting one built locally the guy wants $325 witch just seams a little high to me plus I have a lot going on with the truck and want to put the money in other areas of the build who knows maybe I'll brake out the welder and give it ago if I can fine one like J Knight posted

Aftermarket trans x-members for 67-72's will work. You might have to drill a new hole or two, but they fit within the frames. They'll even work on the taller frame of a C30 w/a little tweaking....

That x-member started out as one of these from Early Classic Enterprises....

I was told that one would not work with my 700r4, bottom of the trans is about even with the frame

any of the aftermarket cross members would have to be modified ????

This is a side by side comparison of the OE trans x-member & my 'modified' ECE unit. I fabbed & added the mount to the main 'center' tube of the x-member. You can see I built it to the same height as the OE unit from my 89 C3500 (it's a CC C30) that came w/a 454/th400. That's a Energy Suspension poly mount on top of the 'mount' I added. Using the OE x-member, that same poly mount would simply sit on the top of it....

Do you have any more pics of the exhaust on your truck? I like the concept. What drivetrain are you running?

This pic makes me think the ECE x-member might work as is. Compare where the bottom of the frame-rails lip is vs your trans mount. Look how the ECE trans mount flange is about even w/the bottom of the frame rail lip (where it bolts in is on the frame-rail lip)....
