A-arm clearance when running 15" wheels

How much do you have to grind off the control arm when you run a drop spindle (I've got Bell Techs) and stock 6" or 7" wide 15-inch stock steel wheel? A little or a lot?

Or...CAN you run a skinny front 15" steelie with dropped spindles? I'm going for a particular look on my '64, and I need to know what I have to do.

Re: A-arm clearance when running 15" wheels

I only had to grind a very little bit of the lip around the ball joint on my 72 C10 with bell tech spindles and 2" drop coils. I was running 15"x8" aluminum wheels though so you may be OK with the stock steel wheels.

I'm sure others will chime in.
