Door window swap from 52 vent to 50 solid window
 

Can anyone tell me the extent on making the window swap from the 52 vent window to the one piece window in the 50 model chevy. And what all I need to do the swap. Do they make conversion kits or do you have to custom fab it yourself? Or do I just need to swap the whole door out? Any info would be highly appreciated.

I suggest doing a search first. This topic has been covered many times with pics and advice. Look around awhile, you will find all your answers....

There is no kit. You'd have to cut out and weld in all of the internals to make this swap. It would probably be much easier, possibly cheaper to just swap out the entire door (depending on where you are with your project).

I've got at least three pair of 47/50 doors that have had the windows, regulators and front channel removed from them before I got them. The last pair I got for 30.00 for the pair when not as nice doors with all the pieces had a 75.00 ea asking price at the same swap meet.

To do it right you also need the steel frame that goes around the glass and you need the track for the rollers.
