what im asking crossover or go high steer? or dose it make a difference

Crossover helps when you lift it more than 4". To fit those 38s you're going to need more than that or some alone time with a sawzall.
Look at Off Road Designs for good service and prices. You can get a junkyard 2WD box to keep the cost down with their components. For better info, we need to know truck specs: Year, type, axles, lift type and amount, etc. |

its a 1/2ton 71 GMC 38 tsls 4.56 gears 12bolt rear d44 front 4" lift with 3" body (that i cant stand) its been a while sence it has been operational (12 years).... ill get sum pix up soon

quite a few companies that offer cross over or high steer offroad design, north west fab i think and offroad unlimited i run 38.5s with 4in suspension and 3in body no rubbing

Nope it turned great almost as good as my 03 with 35s but then I put a D60 up front and lost alot of turning although I don't have the common mud truck problem of a huge turn one way and a sharp turn the other way its just equal but not as good maybe one day ill try and fix it
