Seam Sealer in the Bed question

i have noticed that the seam sealer in the bed is cracked and hell, lets me honest, coming loose. What is the correct stuff to use on this. I ma looking to remove all the existing sealer and start all over before lining the bed.

Thanks

Re: Seam Sealer in the Bed question

I have done several. Clean out all the old caulk, wire brush or grind any rust out in the seams, and apply a rust sealing paint to the seams. Then reapply the seam sealer (3m fast n firm and Crest qwik-seam are both good). I prefer the type that uses a caulk gun for these areas. You can use paint thinner on a small brush to smooth any areas needed (or wax and grease remover). Hope this helps.

A guy at work was patching his floor in a 69 nova & got a tube from O'Reilley Auto Parts,Expensive but works great. It was a tube like for a caulk gun & went a long way...
Hope this helps
