Stupid me ..Silly question

I have 3 inch drop spindles only in the front and 5 inch drop coils only on the rear of my 69 c10. What is the numbers such as 4-6 drop that apply to this set up. And what should i expect from the quality of my ride and handling

I am not quite sure what information you are asking for, but the 3 inch drop spindles in the front will have little to any ride quality difference compared to stock. The rear springs are going to be stiff and I would recommend 2 inch blocks and 3 inch springs, just to keep a better ride quality.

Re: Stupid me ..Silly question

If you are currently sitting at 3" drop in the front (spindle only) and need to get to 4" of drop... best solution is a 1" drop coil.

In the rear you are currently at 5" drop (via coil spring) and need to get to 6" of drop..... best solution would be a 1" lowering block.

The ride quality shouldn't change much if any. Only things to worry about are axle to frame clearance out back (don't want to bottom out). And hopefully your front springs aren't worn out to the point that you don't see any height change when installing the new 1" drop springs.

Yes a '3/5' drop usually means 3 front, 5 rear. Usually given as 'front/rear'. You got it.
