1" steel pucks at body mounts
Are these round pucks stock? I thought it was a body lift at first but my bumpers are still bolted to the frame and line up with the body. The truck is a 76 k10.

Re: 1" steel pucks at body mounts
Im pretty sure they arent stock, they should be made of rubber.

Re: 1" steel pucks at body mounts
yeah you should have rubber and then a metal puck if it does have a lift.

Re: 1" steel pucks at body mounts
I have both rubber and metal but not all of the mounts have the metal pucks which is why im confused. The radiator support mounts and the rear most bed mounts dont have the pucks.

Re: 1" steel pucks at body mounts
Metal is defintely not stock. Metal is actually a very poor body mount. Body mounts should always be made of a medium that absorb shock and sound. Most are poly, rubber or rubber compound. A metal mount will transfer sound and vibration into the vehicle. The purpose of a mount is to create a barrier for sound and vibration or at least the ability to absorb some of it

Yea these are stacked with the rubber bushings like a body lift would be but just not at all the mounts.
