Re: Gauge Parts Lot

What 's the diff between early and late speedos?

DaHos 04-27-2012 01:42 PM

Re: Gauge Parts Lot

The only diff is the high beam light hole is rectangle and the late style is round.

I'm interested in the tach, can you post a pic of the tach? I have a few of the parts you listed for trade. What does (for repair) mean exactly?

"For repair" means I don't know if it works or not and sold as is. To those handy at this kind of thing it might be worth a go? Here are some pics...

I'll trade you a rear tach tin for the tach. Does it have the back housing?

Keeping the tach with the gauge parts lot. I do have a rear tach tin but was going to hang on to it, If its the deal breaker I will throw it in as I see the NOS ones do have it on them.

Funny selling 33 gauges to buy 1 ...........oh' the hobby..... ;)

How much for the vac shipped to 95240? And do you have any early speedo's that still have the green tint on the face?

The vac needs re screening but works, and I do have a NICE ! "green" early style speedo needs nothing but dusting off and needle repainted.. $60 shipped for the pair.

$25 shipped as is. If you have a particular color you want Ill buy it and paint it for an extra $5.

I just would hate for it not to match your other gauges.......I know it would bug me !!!!

Well it's going into a cluster with all NOS gauges so I would want the factory color. I'll give you the extra $5 no problem.

very nice collection of gauges - quick question for you - how does one go about "re-screening" a gauge face? Send off to the "re-screener" or is there a homemade way to apply/do (as you can see, I'm not familiar with the process, but hear about it all the time). Thanks!

This is IT !!!! Tach or temp gauge have not been repainted. The color on the round end of the needle is the match.
