Where do you mount speakers?
I am redoing interior and had the speakers behind seat, I would like them where I can hear better,How many have speakers in the doors? or elswhere? Any ideas?

The previous owner of my truck had two installed under the dash. They didn't look quite right so I took them out, but it's still not a bad location if done correctly. Plus, there's not much speaker wire hanging around. I'm sure someone has a better solution or one that's been better executed, but it's a thought.

Thanks for the reply, I just ordered 2 of the old music note chrome speaker covers off of e-bay to mount in the door, will post pictures when I get them installed. Thanks

I have heard of a really good replacement unit for the stock speaker under the dash that performs Very well, Forgot which company Might be LMC
Unfortunately for me I had the bright idea to cut 6 1/2" holes in the doors when I was 16 Best option is probably using a kick panel application |

I have two small speakers in the dash (where the single factory speaker would go), and two 6x9's in the doors that the p.o mounted. I will be switching to running some speakers in the center console, where they can be mounted properly and actually sound decent.

I have a 3 way mounted in each back corner of the cab, facing outward, and one under each side of the seat, facing forward.

Kick panels with Infinity mid-range and tweeters and a sub with back speakers behind the seat........
