Optional factory ac in 1970?

My truck has factory optional ac on it. I need to replace the hoses inside the cab? Can I assume the hoses in my truck are the same that came with factory ac?

I have not seen the optional AC system but I have to believe that the AC hoses are different in that all factory AC hoses are on the outside of the firewall and do not go inside the cab.

New hoses can be made up if yours are bad.

I'm guessing that the duct hoses are different from add on AC vs factory AC. You'll have to measure yours and try to match them up, should not be had to find them.

Not sure what the difference between "factory" and "factory optional". If you meant dealer-installed or aftermarket, it's most likely different. If it's below the dash, it's certainly different.

That said, the tube kits are cheap enough that if you check the diameters you might still be able to buy a kit and make them work.
