Trouble bench bleeding brakes
I put a new, not rebuilt master cyl. on my 87. I could not get fluid out of the front port while trying to bench bleed it. A shop pressure bleed it. Then it started to leak below the bowl in less then 100 miles. I got another new one. A cardone just like the first one. The same thing is happening. No fluid out of the front. Anyone had this trouble?

Re: Trouble bench bleeding brakes
make sure you are using lines back into the reservoir while bleeding (bench bleeding kit), one other tip is there are two stages. You might not be pushing the piston in far enough for the front to flow fluid.
Here is a good video with an explanation of what's going on. Desert |
