6'' flip kit
 
What's up guys I have a little problem with my flip kit I installed it every thing went fine but when I put it back on the ground I didn't like the drop it gave it my wheels pass the wheel wells about 1/2 inch making the back look way lower then the front which is a 4 inch drop any one else have this problem if so what can I do to fix it I'll try to post some pics to show u

mine is 5/6 an my front is an 1" lower than rear....did ur truck have shackles or hangers on it already??? cause 4/6 drop makes it sit level

Im not to sure if it did have shackles it was an old farm truck before i got it and who knows before that im thinking the leaf springs r wore out not sure tho

The front looks more like a 3in drop, check to see if your coils are installed properly. To see if you have drop shackles look above the shackle to see if the bed brace is notched and also see how many leafs you have. Typically you should have 4(3 thin and 1 thick). If you have less than that someone removed a leaf to lower it at some point.

Make sure your springs are seated properly, and possibly give them time to settle if they are new drop springs.

being an old farm truck its very very possible the rear springs are wore out... farmers are known to use abuse and over load trucks almost regularly

the heavy duty leaf pack will yield more drop in the rear because the thickness of the leaf pack.

bed brace does not have to be notched if it's on the longer leaf pack

cool ill look at that tomorrow my truck is in the shop all stripped down and getting ready for paint and the kit i got was a belltech 4/6 with of couse flip kit and 3'' spindle and 1'' springs and it also came with the drop shocks
