What shocks to use with flip kit?

2 Attachment(s)
I found this flip kit on ebay for 37 bucks. Its just basically the plate that goes between the axle and leaf springs. I just read on c10forums that some guy use c30 front shocks on his c10 and it works good. Anyone heard about this before? here's pics...
am on a budget so cant afford drop shocks. Im even considering air shocks but those sound expensive.

You already have your axle flipped on top of the leaf springs, and looks like it was done by welding a leaf spring axle bracket to the axle. You won't need those brackets, as you already have a flip kit. I am assuming that picture is of how the truck is now???? Or is this a picture of the front C30 shocks on that truck.

I would recommend shock extenders, which would allow you to utilize more of a standard shock. Make sure if you use a front shock that it has enough travel for the rear end.

I recommend calling Early Classic and see what they recommend and offer. There products are top notch and they have allot of experience doing exactly what you want to do. I also know that their axle saddles are only $39. For $2 more you get a solid reputation and expert advice.
