2" and 2.5" lift options?

Doesn't look like tuff country offers a 2.5" kit. I am only going with 33's so a 2.5" is what I'm looking for. I hear such good reviews on the tuff country ez rides so thats what I want to go with question is will their 2" be enough not to rub with 33" on stocker 8" rallys even under mild offroading.

A 2" lift with 33's on 8" wheels is plenty. You won't have any problems. I have the same lift, tires and wheels on my blazer and with no problems....I don't have any pictures currently.

Yeah, I'd be really interested in seeing that too.

It will be a couple weeks before I can get a picture it isn't at my house. The ride is near stock with 2" tuff country front springs and hydraulic tuff country shocks.

Man I really thought your Jimmy was taller than that. I thought for sure those were 35's.

I remember when you lifted your jimmy....I remember reading you used th 3" tc lift but for some reason had to also had a 1.5" block to bring the rear up to match the front after the 3" tc springs were installed is that correct?

if so whats the deal with the 3" rear lift springs being 1.5" from the amount of life the front springs gave? that scared me from tc lifts kinda when i read that.

Pretty sure he used factory rear springs with a 1.5" block, not 3" rear lift springs too. It just helps to level it out, not lifting the rear as much. Nice ride, by the way!

Re: 2" and 2.5" lift options?

lol...stalkers

Actually I did install new leafs on all corners. However after I installed it the rear looked lower. After finding the leaf part number for rears it appeared they sent me 2" rear leafs with my 3" front leafs. Instead of me removing leafs, shipping back and getting new leafs I had them send me a 1.5" block kit to correct the height.

back to topic.....Not all tires are "true sized" meaning it may say 33x12.50 but not actually be 33" (my toyos were little over 33 and much wider). My advice is find the tire you want, look at the mfg actual specs first, then decide on wheel width and backspacing, then determine what size lift you need to not only clear them at the street driving but also be able to go offroad with them and clear the fender corners.

i'm running Tuff Country ez ride 3" springs on my 86 K2500. clears the 33's with plenty of room, and the ride is not that bad.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=498338
