1972 402 Napa engine rebuild kit
 

I have what looks like a complete rebuild kit I received with a truck I purchased.

The pistons are .30 over and comes with the following:

Aluminum pistons
Cam/lifters/bearings
perfect circle rings
Dana rockers and pushrods
Federal Mogul Made in USA rod and main bearings
timing chain and sprockets
freeze plugs
all gaskets unopened
oil pump

If you are looking for a factory stock 402 rebuild kit, this is an inexpensive way to start. Not sure of the age, but most components look like they are made in the good ole USA and are not discolored, surface rusted etc! Even if you are cleaning up or freshening up a 402, the price of gaskets and an oil pump begin to add up.

This box is very heavy.

I need to get the specs from Napa. I am sure I will need to get them the part numbers and have them cross reference. The number on the kit box is 284-1249.

I could use a tach dash, rear fleetside sport bumper brackets,tilt, Parchment door panels with our without scroll as they will be covered, SB AC brackets with bolts, 4x4 exhaust manifolds.

Rod and main bearings are standard size.

John, don't want to hold up your sale, I have 2 crankshafts already ground at 30/30, looking for something to go with that.
Heck of a price for someone though.
If you didn't find some one to buy outright, I would trade an RV tilt in great shape & a set of rear 4x4 sport bumper brackets aftermarket new.
