90 aftermarket dash info

I have a friend that swapped the motor in his 89 chevy which had a throttle body for a 383 with a carb. He also removed the computer and went "old school" but cannot find a good way to put aftermarket speedo and tach in the dash/gauge area.....anyone know of an aftermarket set up to do such a thing?

If he's still using a 700R4 you can swap the elec. speedo sensor for the mechanical cable adapter at the tail housing. A tach should be simple since there is already a spade terminal off the coil. Pick up the tach signal there. It's an idea anyway...
