Best tire size for a 3/5 drop on rallys

So im wanting some opinions, im picking up a set of 6lug rally wheels tomorrow , and im trying to figure out the best tire size to put on them that dont look too small but dont rub. Truck has a 3 in front drop and if it ever quits RAINING/SNOWING ill put the back springs on. What are some suggestions for tire sizes. And also, for those wanting babymoons on their rally wheels, ive come up with an idea, rivet the tabs/clips like the old 50s trucks used to have to hold them on. Ill experiment and see what happens. Thanks guys in advance

There's a seller on E-Bay that sells the clips in a bolt on design.Only problem is he claims they're only compatable with the 5 lugs.

I'm running 225-70/15 and 255-70/15 on mine with a 2 1/2-4 drop.Using Rallies.

Although mine are five lug, the rally's are 15x8 with 275/15/60,s all four corners. 3-1/2" drop up front because 4-1/2" rubbed in the turns and bumps. 4" drop springs out back on a LWB 72 C-10 w/350/350tb...A 5" drop in the rear is going to require a "C-notch" in the frame, 4" is the limit. Hey paneldeland, you have a link for those clips?

Just out of curiosity where did it rub? I'm trying to spec out a build and I really want to do 295/45/18s at all 4 corners which are 1/2" taller than your 275/60/15s and an just under an inch wider. I was looking to do about a 3&4 drop. The rims I'm looking at have a 6.6" backspace (1.3" offset) so being too far out will not be the problem, if anything I'll need to do a spacer. Just looking to figure out where the problem areas are. Oh, BTW it's going to be a 4 corner Porterbuilt coilover build so some tweaking would be possible at build time. Also curious if the aftermarket front tubs from Hills Rod & Custom address this problem or are they really only for dealing with heavy dragger drops?

215 70's on the front with 7" rallies. 275 60's on the back with 8" rallies. Gives it a nice rubber rake.
