Brushed look on bumpers?????
Thinking of trying to match the machined look on the lip of my wheels. Is there anything I can do to my existing chrome bumpers to get this look?

Re: Brushed look on bumpers?????
I have seen some guys use a product called, PlastiDip. They use their version of clear coat and it gives chrome a satin/matte finish. You might want to check into that.

Re: Brushed look on bumpers?????
You could sand your bumpers with 400 grit, and give it a few good coats of clear.

Re: Brushed look on bumpers?????
I would use a red scotch brite pad, and scuff it really good length-wise. Don't get into it too bad and you won't need to clear it or anything.
