Air Bag = how much drop?
I've seen this question answered before but I can't find the threads anymore. When changing from a coil spring to an air bag I believe there is an associated drop when the bag is at ride height. Most bags are around 6-8" at ride height, but I can't find what a factory compressed spring height is. Switching to air bags is what, a 2" drop? TIA!

Re: Air Bag = how much drop?
I did both bags and spindles last time and I would say the bag was about 2.5-3" of drop on it's own. But it depends pn how the bag is mounted and what bag you are running.

Re: Air Bag = how much drop?
Thanks, I was thinking it was about there. I'm going to be static for a while and wanted to look up some pictures for reference. I have D2600's and ECE 2.5" spindles on a factory 67. I guess I'm looking at about a 5" drop in the front then, thanks!

Re: Air Bag = how much drop?
I can ride with a stance of about a 6/7 drop with my DOMs...this is about 40 psi in the front and 30 in the rear. It's a little bumpy though...with 45-50 psi in the front, it goes up about an inch but rides much smoother.
