87 with tbi very high idle.
 

bought an 87 with tbi runs at a very high idle sometimes . when its warmed up is when i notice its when it does it and check engine light is on also.

check the gasket between the throttle body and the manifold , clean the Idle air control valve up. Sounds like a vaccumn leak ... usually is on a throttle body

My 87 was as simple as a new radiator cap. The old one was bad and sensor wouldn`t let it idle down.
