LSx waterpump with Driver Side Connection
*** I found this info over on Pro-Touring.com and thought it would be useful over here. This may make it easier to keep your stock radiator during a swap...
This is the water pump for the 2010+ L99 Camaro (#19207665). It uses the same accessory spacing as the truck motors: http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps5850b685.jpg http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps6632715f.jpg |

Re: LSx waterpump with Driver Side Connection
There is a company called LS Brackets that sells on eBay and their own site that sells relocation brackets to be used with that idler.

Re: LSx waterpump with Driver Side Connection
I'm going a different route because of the dual quads I can use this: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-8895/media/images Its kind of pricey but the electric pumps are double that price and more.

What is the difference in pumps lengths? |
Re: LSx waterpump with Driver Side Connection
Does the 2010 Camaro pump need the dirty dingo spacers?
I see the tensioner is that all that is needed? Will the tensioner that you list still be needed with a dirty ding upper A/C bracket? |

Re: LSx waterpump with Driver Side Connection
Thanks, I was hoping for at least a inch, but at this stage 1/4+ will help, I have the dirty dingo A/C mount and you say I will need the Corvette tensioner, (a second one?)

My comment about the tensioner really wasn't in regards to the DD A/C mount. I just meant that the L99 pump doesn't come with a tensioner and the LS1 corvette tensioner will fit it (and the 'vette tensioner is about $40 cheaper). I have no experience with the DD mount. |

Thanks, I wonder how much I can cut off the snout and still hold it to the shaft, it is pressed on, right?
The 5.3 is going in a 46 Chevy pick up |

Here's a picture that I stole off ls1tech that shows what I'm talking about. Note the relocated idler: http://ls1tech.com/forums/attachment...s-frontacc.jpg |
