85 to 88 cab
 
ok so i got a 88 cab to replace the one on my wrecker. what i would like to know is what is needed to be changed? the 88 is wired for tbi and i have a carb so i know i have to change some of that around but how much? can i leve the comp or do i need to change the wire harness?

85 and 88 are two different body styles.

that would be correct if it is a C/K Model but from 88 to 91 there was also the R/V models so he could have one of them.

its one ton to one ton. not the new body. forgot all about that lol. so yea it would be a r/v cab.

Use the old wiring harness, less problems that way

can i just use my old engine harness? cause my cab harness is shot to hell. also can i just take the fuse block apart to seperat the frame harness or do i have to cut and splice all the wires?

If you're taking the fuse block apart best to get a factory wiring schematic, the 2 fuse blocks are not exactly the same
